Champagne Sadi Malot was established in 1883 and is now into its 5th generation of Madot family ownership. Their Grand Cru vineyards stretch across 10 hectares of vines - mainly Chardonnay in Villers-Marmery and mainly Pinot Noir in Verzy. The winery gained fully organic status in 2020, believing that caring for the environment as a whole makes much better wine; something we're certainly inclined to agree with! Les 2 Cepages Grand Cru NV is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru vineyards of Verzy. Assembled with 50% reserve wines from a solera started in 1982 and after three years of aging on lees, this cuvée has a full, subtle and fruity nose and expresses the ideal combination between the finesse of Chardonnay and the power of Pinot Noir. Perfect from aperitif to dessert.
